CurlyEllie Named Sevenoaks Business of the Year 2019

On Friday 13 September, CurlyEllie celebrated being named ‘Sevenoaks Business of the Year 2019’ at the Sevenoaks Town Partnership’s Annual Business Awards.

I live in a little town in Kent where CurlyEllie started from many years ago. For the first few years, I ran CurlyEllie from our family home, eventually taking over the kids play room.

Orders were fulfilled just before school pick ups and emails replied to when the kids were finally in bed.

Now we have our little office in town with amazing team members that I consider “family”. It’s been many years now and the awesome Sevenoaks community has been my rock, from photo shoots, to phone lines, office space, someone to cry with and laugh with and never allowing me to give up.

The awards celebrate the expertise, achievements and outstanding contributions that businesses and individuals have made in Sevenoaks.  The glamorous ceremony was attended by Sir Michael Fallon the previous Defence Minister and Eddie the Eagle. CurlyEllie, whose head office is based in Sevenoaks, Kent is a proud supporter of local businesses.

Just knowing that we have our little town behind us is the best stamp of approval and the CurlyEllie team had the most amazing night and celebrated with the fantastic businesses around Sevenoaks.

Thanks to our amazing CurlyEllie community who have made this possible with all your support, love and loyalty.

I hoped  2019 would be a fab year but this is EPIC.

The founder Zaina O’Halloran says, CurlyEllie is a unique, luxurious eco-friendly product made for my daughter Ellie who suffered from food allergies, eczema and a mass of curly hair that was untameable and often wild. Each product in the range is lovingly customised to provide high quality hair care to make washing, conditioning and styling their tresses a more fun, pleasurable experience for both mother and child.

Initially aimed at children, CurlyEllie has gained cult status amongst women too with mothers discovering the benefits for themselves after seeing perfectly smooth, defined curls on their young ones.

There are no parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or mineral oils in any of our products. The shampoo, two conditioners, detangling spray, hair mask and serum contain natural ingredients such as hair shaft-toughening quinoa and broccoli for added shine. This is in addition to the cleansing and moisturising qualities of aloe vera, abyssinian oil, shea butter and sweet almond oil.

CurlyEllie has been making its way into bathrooms up and down the country and many mums are reporting no more tears at hair time. The proof is in the washing.

CurlyEllie is now available nationwide at Wholefoods, Ocado, Victoria Health as well as other Salons and Health stores in the UK.
