CurlyEllie Gentle Shampoo, from range by CurlyEllie, the haircare brand for curly locks has been awarded Gold at the 2017 MadeForMums Awards. This is in addition to the Silver award at the Junior Design Awards 2016 prize for Best Children’s toiletries collection.   This is a huge achievement with CurlyEllie only launching in April of last year.

The founder Zaina O’Halloran says, I designed the Curly Ellie Shampoo to meet the needs of my daughter Ellie, whose baby allergies and eczema had left her scalp very sensitive, even to baby shampoos.  For me and for countless mums with curly haired children, Curly Ellie Shampoo is an innovation (and a godsend) that has turned ‘hair time’ from a daily struggle with knotted hair, frizziness, dry and tender scalps and a grumpy child into a pleasurable experience, a special time to enjoy together. Initially aimed at children, CurlyEllie has gained cult status amongst women too with mothers discovering the benefits for themselves after seeing perfectly smooth, defined curls on their young ones.
