Double Award as Vegan Natural Hair care scoops Gold and Silver at the Loved by Parents Awards

Excitement reached fever pitch at CurlyElllie this month as we were awarded both Gold and Silver in the prestigious Loved by Parents Awards for our Full Collection of hair care custom crafted for dry, damaged, frizzy and curly hair.

The whole CurlyEllie team is over the moon to have won not one, but two awards at the Loved by Parents Awards. It is so great to get feedback from real parents and to hear that our hair care collection for curls is changing attitudes to natural hair and bringing curls to life.

Our collection took podium position in an amazing two categories at the awards. This is in addition to our 2 gold awards at the 2017 Junior Design Awards and 2017 Made for Mum Awards. This is a huge achievement with CurlyEllie only launching in April of 2016.

Alongside the win, and as part of the winner’s prize, the CurlyEllie will now reach over 6 million parents and 700,000 social fans a month on the Loved by Parents website.

The founder Zaina O’Halloran says, CurlyEllie is a unique, luxurious eco-friendly product made for my daughter Ellie who suffered from food allergies, eczema and a mass of curly hair that was untameable and often wild. Each product in the range is lovingly customised to provide high quality hair care to make washing, conditioning and styling their tresses a more fun, pleasurable experience for both mother and child.

Initially aimed at children, CurlyEllie has gained cult status amongst women too with mothers discovering the benefits for themselves after seeing perfectly smooth, defined curls on their young ones.

There are no parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or mineral oils in any of our products. The shampoo, two conditioners, detangling spray contain natural ingredients such as hair shaft-toughening quinoa and broccoli for added shine. This is in addition to the cleansing and moisturising qualities of aloe vera, abyssinian oil, shea butter and babassu oil. 

CurlyEllie has been making its way into bathrooms up and down the country and many mums are reporting no more tears at hair time. The proof is in the washing.
